How to Configure the Get-it-by Timer

The Get-it-by Timer in the Upsell Sales Boost app shows customers when they can expect to receive their purchase. This builds trust and creates urgency, encouraging faster checkouts.

Please check below on the steps on how to setup this feature.


Configuring the Widget

To get started, enable the Get-it-by Timer widget by toggling the button to ON.



Once you have enabled it, you will need to configure a few settings. The Shipping Cut-Off Time indicates when your store stops shipping for the day. In this example, my store stops shipping at 5:00 PM, so I will select this time.



The Shipping Days option indicates which days your store will ship products. In this example, my store will ship only on weekdays so I will select Monday to Friday.



The Carrier Delivery Speeds setting shows how quickly your carrier delivers packages. I have set mine to 2 business days. 



I have also set the Carrier Delivery Days to Monday to Friday, as this is when my carrier delivers packages.



Next, I will configure the timer to be hidden if the time is greater than 8 hours. 



Finally, there are options to display or hide the cut-off timer. You can also personalize the display by changing the following:

  • Timer style
  • Timer message before and after the cut-off time
  • Color of the cut-off time
  • Message before and after delivery date
  • Color of delivery date
  • Emoji (This will be placed in front of the message)
  • Message font size
  • Timer language
  • Date notation
  • Toggle custom position


When finished, click Save to apply the settings.
