How to Use Market/Customer Targeting in Your Upsell Campaigns?

Want your Upsell campaigns to feel personal, relevant, and perfectly timed? The Upsell Sales Boost (USB) app gives you powerful targeting options so you can reach the right customers with the right offers—at the right moment.

In this guide, we’ll explore the Targeting feature, which you’ll find at the end of every Upsell campaign setup. With just a few clicks, you can fine-tune your campaigns using three smart components:


Display to Markets

The Display to Markets component allows you to restrict campaign visibility to customers based on the specified Shopify markets and regions. This option is particularly useful for region-specific promotions, such as shipping offers or country-based discounts.

By default, the campaign is set to display to All markets:

You can choose to display to Specific markets:

If no markets are displayed or if some are missing, simply click the Re-sync Markets button to update the list of markets.


Display to Customers

The Display to Customers component allows you to display the campaign exclusively to specific customers based on customer tags. This option is ideal for customer-specific campaigns, such as loyalty rewards or targeted offers for wholesale clients.

By default, the campaign is set to display All customers:

You can choose to Target customers by tag:

Only one tag can be entered, and the tag is case-sensitive.


Display Schedule

The Display Schedule component lets you schedule a specific timeframe for when a campaign will be displayed in your store. This option is recommended for limited-time promotions, seasonal campaigns, or holiday-specific offers.

By default, the campaign is set to Always display:

You can choose Scheduled display:

This is based on your local time, and you can also set an end date:

Don't forget to save when you're finished!
